i still don’t understand why discussing a celebrity’s weight is an appropriate topic of conversation. you wouldn’t comment on a friend’s facebook picture with “wow, she really packed on the pounds!! no one wants to see you in a bikini! FAT COW!”
so why does the removal of physically knowing a person make any difference?
when we begin to stop engaging in fat talk, we lessen the effects felt on our own self-esteem and foster a community of body positivity.
